In 2018 a growing need for expert project managers in the mining support service industry led to the formation of Record Project Engineering (Pty) Ltd. Based in the Northern Cape, we offer specialist project management services for repair and refurbishment interventions within the lifecycle of large earth moving machinery.
Our service packages are grounded in well-established methodology, with a team of project managers who have extensive technical knowledge comprised of 48 years of mining experience and 30 years of direct on-site project management.

What we deliver
Turnkey solutions
End-to-end management of a machine’s changeout cycle, from initial survey through to post-intervention monitoring.
At the intervention point of a machine’s lifetime changeout cycle our team will conduct a full survey of the machine and compile a thorough project plan. This includes provision of the resource pool and incorporates equipment, tooling, rigging material, multi-skilled artisans, engineers, and specialised maintenance project managers. All requirements for site establishment, inductions, authorisations and site-specific training are also included.
Continuous measurement of project status in combination with reports that provide an accurate reflection of project progress and forecast likely outcomes ensures that interventions are completed according to the timeline. We are committed to the utmost precision in on-time delivery. Our managers liaise closely with clients and are available 24/7.
We follow a risk-based approach and ensure strict adherence to all mining safety standards to achieve zero harm and continuous productivity.
We monitor the machine until our customers are satisfied and our contractual promise has been delivered.
